I like the fact that you are super fast in the game, but I wish the fire rate were faster. It takes an super long time to fire again

One strength in this game is how unique there are mechanics and ways where the ememies have a range where it detects you and the map was pretty good. A friction i encountered was there wasn't much hiding spots if you are being caught in the corners and i have to run around. The page could add like images and banners.

The weapon animation is great and very clean, and the game feels super smooth. One friction is that for level 2 when I die I respawn in the boss room. I think you should add some picture about the game.

The map and the fighting is good and arms and the attack is cool.But whenI play I can see the some time you can pass the wall to attack the enemy and the level 2 I walk a place there have the ball it will let my stuck I thing you can change the map and the enemy to better.

A strenght for this game is the idea of being in a dungeon full of enenmies and being able to use their weapon after killing them.A point of friction would be the screen shaking a little to much.The page could have more details in presentation

One strength in this game is finding new enemies with new weapons around the map. A point of friction I encountered was getting stuck on corners in and spawning next to high level enemy after dying in level 2. I would add pictures of development or gameplay to the Itch page.

WAIT WAIT WAIT WHAT DA HELL! I love the game concept and the map, the UI, I can see this as a great game, and also the music Two Steps From Hell - Victory (The goat) I love the movement, the shooting, even the enemy's ray-cast. However there some bugs occurred: 

Bugs:

  • Both the player, turrets and the enemy can hit through walls.
  • I can just make the one who attacks close range stuck on the wall and hit them or the one with the clueless.
  • The music stops after the end I am unsure if this is a bug. 
  • So when I'm in let's say two curves like the circle is so difficult to escape the gap, or stuck.
  • Let's say I die, and I had a lot of hit on the enemy, and then I died then respawn I spam E (ability), then I started dashing towards the enemy and no clipping through walls.


Web Design:

  • Add images on the beginning that relates on the game as well to make it more engaging.
  • I also read your progress and I love the art (WIP Work in Progress)

One strength is the unique playstyle and mechanic of switching weapons. A friction point is when you change the environment, it starts changing it whenever you press space too. So everytime you attack it swicthes and adds a stack of poison damage which melts your hp. To improve your Itch page, you can add a game title as header and add your studio name somewhere

A strength in this game is the speed on the player. A point of friction is when I respond I kept taking damage and my screen was shaking to much. The page could have a better looking stared page.

A strength of the game is the map being a good size, not too big and not too small. A friction point is in level two when you die, you spawn next to the boss is and not where you started. Also you can get stuck once you attack with the e button. I somehow got there and couldn't get out. One thing you could add to the itch page is some images of the game or character designs.

The model for weapon same as the attack animation are great but i feel like the player's speed is a bit too fast which cause enemy couldn’t catch up, i think you can improve your itch page by adding images about the game to hook people.

One strength of this game is the challenge of fighting the enemies I also did like the space bar as an attack. There were some bugs with getting stuck in walls and your screen shaking for longer periods. I think for the itch page you could add a header or for images.

The strengths of the game is that you can fight with the enemy, the sound is also a strength, the grenades were cool, the map/movement is also a strength. A friction that was in this game was that you can go outside of the map for level 1. You can also get stuck for some reason. In level 2 after the game ends nothing happens. To improve the game I would add maybe a lore or story and finish the game. I would add a story so that it can help the players understand what is happening.

A strength this game has is that there are a variety of weapons to use and I like that all the weapons have different mechanics. A friction I had was there was some spots when you execute an enemy you could get stuck in some of the spots. Something you could add to the itch page is the different weapons that you can acquire.

- I enjoy the concept of taking the enemys weapons when they die
- When you click the env button with your mouse, the spacebar can now change it, and it gets annoying when attacking enemys
- I think you could add gameplay images to the itch.io page

I think one strength is the boost movement. A bug I encountered was after I respawned, my screen continued to shake, and I continued to take damage. For the page I would add more images

A strength in the game is being able to change the environmental climate in the levels to add some challenge. A point of friction I encountered would be the difficulty of controlling player movement, since the player moves a bit too quickly. One thing you could add to your Itch page would be adding an origin story in the background. 

I like the weapon and the animation, it is great. 

The first friction i found is when the character touches the circle obstacle, sometime the character will stuck right there or shake. The second friction is after i click "Change Env" button, i press the space button to attack but it also changes the environment every time i press the button. 

One thing you can improve is the text, it is hard to see because the color is same as the color of obstacle. I recommend you add the outline or change the color to be more visual. And the "change Env" covers the text that show how long the posion last (hope it make sense).

For the itch page, add some arts and some detail of the description (like after i kill the monster what keys can i click to stay a human or turn into the beast?).

this game make me feel challenging, but there are bugs in the map that stuck me there for a little long. And the enemy damage should low it for the one that has pistol because it shooting so fast. What it need is debuff some of the enemy and fix the map. 

The game is good with combat but makes me take the weapon of the enemy i killed. Also the shaking sometimes glitched. I think you should add some art too. I like how we can execute the enemy so we kill it faster instead of having to keep hitting it. Overall the game is really goof

i like this game and the idea of chasing to find new loot and get new weapons to get on more leves but i do find it hard to shoot and aim when i was shooting. i love how the opponent where strong and not slow.

The game is good, It's nice how when you kill a opponent you get a automatic weapon switch. But the weapon you receive after get worse than the first. Sometimes there's some glitches like shooting a opponent through walls or just randomly getting stuck and not being able to get out. The itch page itslef needs more color, more images around and a title so it doesn't look basic.

its a fun game and i like the gun designs in the game. change the buttons on attacking and changing the environment because its the same button and there still some bugs where i get stuck on corners. you could add more art about the game or even add art or the title in the heading.

The game seems pretty polished with good combat mechanics. I'd prefer to see more art in the game and bugs to be fixed such as the attack button changing the environment. Same thing for the itch page, there should be more art presenting the game.

It's a good game in my opinion the strength of the game is that its fun and has different types of weapons and also the movement is smooth, One thing is that sometimes on level 2 i keep getting stuck on the blocks

This game is very nice to play, have enemy and character, weapon to kill the enemy to fight against of them, and after you win, you can go to 2nd place, the quake it more faster if you kill all the enemy, the character have dash skill speed more faster to dodge enemy, for 2nd place some area have a trap look like grass to stuck player.

The enemy detection system was good and I like the shake but it often glitched out, not only that but you could shoot through walls making the enemy easy too kill. Also when I get a good weapon and kill a enemy it forces me to take their weapon which is so much worse. I also think you should add some art on the itch page.

The game is good i like how the mechanics are and the combat system is good, i like how the movement of the character its smooth and fast, and have a weapon to kill the enemies and get buffs, the game is smooth and very easy to play, the osund js needs a little fixing because the audio is a bit too loud but overall tge game is good.

It's a pretty fun game and the fighting mechanics are good so far.

Bugs, things to change/add:

In level 1 when you press space to attack, it changes the environment as well so you die really fast.

Maybe add like a boss warning in level 2 for the green square and create a set respawn point. You can also get enemies stuck in some corners.

The itch page could use some art! :)

the combat system is good, and the idea of diffrent weapons is cool, but you should have the option to switch weapons, so diffrent people can have diffrent styles. also the enemy pathfinding is simple, and can get stuck due to the straight forward movment they have. 

I enjoy the combat system. The concept of receiving the weapon from the enemy you killed is pretty cool but I wish there could be a mechanic where you can switch weapons after. I also feel that the sword should be more overpowered to make the game balance.

This is a cool game that has good mechanics. I don't know what the environment does, and randomly your screen starts to shake and you take a lot of damage. I also keep getting stuck in the map making me unable to restart.

The combat systme is cool and I like that it's possible to get different weapons from killing other enemies. One thing that annoys me a little is the hitbox of the main character being a square. When in contact with multiple circles or a circle and a wall, it's very easy to get stuck and get soft locked in the game. The Itch page could have a nice header art that will fully complete the atmosphere of the game.

Strong combat system, I had a lot of fun clearing the second level with a variety of powers.

One point of friction is I got stuck in level geometry on level 2 in between a bunch of circles.

This itch.io page could use some artwork, such as a background, header image, and thumbnail.

Also, make it clear on your itch.io page what your game name is (Dungeon Shifters) and what your studio name is (????).

Great idea! Taking the power of my enemy seems like the main hook of the game, and I'd consider it the strength of the game as well! I can imagine targeting certain enemy types just so I can use their attack against another type that's weak to it. I think you could address an area of friction I had, which is how loud the (epic) music was, by adding a volume slider. Good work so far :)

Also, one of you was in the audio workshop today. You could bring your sounds into Audacity like Mr. Horowitz showed you to produce them a little more. It would be easy to balance the levels a little more before adding to the game. Sure you can adjust the audio in Godot, but getting them more balanced from the start will make less tweaks needed later. Plus it's jarring once the loudness kicks in, not in a good way. 


I love the effects you have gotten in the game so far, especially the lightning, I'm a sucker for lightning effects. Give us a preview of the art that will be in your game. To improve this Itch page add images of your player, enemies, pickups, world and take advantage of the banner option. Whet our appetite until you can add more art in the game.
